Our apartment is located in a quiet residential area, Pinos de Alhaurín, on the outskirts of Alhaurín de la Torre. A lively town, characterized by the many palm trees and decorated roundabouts, with a wide range of Spanish restaurants, coffee bars and cafes. The centre of Alhaurín de la Torre is a 5-minute drive from the apartment for groceries and nice shops. The airport and the beach can be reached within 20 minutes and the apartment is 30 minutes from the beautiful city of Málaga.
Due to the ideal location of the apartment there are many possibilities for beautiful day trips, including hiking in nature, playing golf, sports, shopping or a day relaxing on the beach.

Málaga is a vibrant city that guarantees a day or a few days of enjoyment. It is the birthplace of Pablo Picasso and actor Antonio Banderas. Just a 30-minute drive from the apartment Málaga offers a city trip that you can fill with art, culture, being active, shopping, good food or just relaxing on the beach.
Stroll along the Boulevard and enjoy the Spanish sun on the beaches of Fuengirola, Benalmádena or Torremolinos. A 20-minute drive from the apartment and your feet will be in the sand.
Marbella is a fashionable seaside city and best known for the port of Puerto Banús. Stroll along the boulevard and see the rich and famous or visit the charming old town.
The white villages, or pueblos blancos as they are called in Spanish, are characterized by narrow streets with white chalked houses and are often among the oldest towns in Andalucia with many Moorish influences. Full of history, beautiful sights and landscapes. Visit Mijas Pueblo, Frigiliana or Setenil de las Bodegas.
El Caminito del Rey (the king's path) is a spectacular walk that runs from Sillón del Rey to Estación del Chorro through the El Chorro gorge. The total length of the path is approximately 7.7 km of which 3 km through the gorge on bord walks. Order your tickets in time to avoid disappointment.
Ronda is located on a plateau, 750 metres above sea level. It is divided into two parts, separated by the majestic Tajo, a 100m deep and 500m wide gorge, at the bottom of which flows the river Guadalevín.

Thanks to the pleasant climate, golf is popular in Andalucia. A quarter of all Spanish golf courses are located in this region. Lauro Golf 27 is located a 10-minute drive from the apartment, with its 27 hole golf course that can be played in three different combinations, a challenge for all levels. Or hit a ball at Alhaurín Golf.
With a length of 1.300 meters, Super Tirolina in Alhaurín de la Torre is the longest zip line in Andalucia. At a speed of 100 km. per hour, it offers a view of the Mediterranean Sea and the bay of Málaga.
For those who like hiking, the mountain paths above the village of Mijas Pueblo are worthwhile. There are 7 signposted routes between 1 km. and 4.2 km. The routes are linear, but by combining them you can create variations between the outward and return journey.
